If Egosoft suddenly announced they were ripping out every feature that interfered with a stright console port I would not need to play the game to know I disagreed with the design decision and I would expect to be allowed to say so without being accused of flaming or trolling. But unions can help with the problem of misclassification. If this board was moderated in the way you suggest i'd be out of here. ![]() Critical comment and flaming are not the same thing, your belief notwithstanding. Jeez, you have a very wide definition of flaming. Ok.I'm done.you can throw snow balls at me now. "You can't say you don't like it until you've tried it". There are people on the forum here who have tried to tell the people that are "flamming" FL that its just a s the truth.Įither you like it or you don't.one or the other.but first you have to play it to make that decision. Point is, is that no one has even played the game yet and can't really form an opinion about it without even having played the game.Īs for the deleted posts on the FL forum.if the posts were this aggrevating (no.not this one but some of the others) I'd have deleted them too. Its funny.there is a really large following for the Lancer games and Free Lancer.I never see them on this forum saying that X2 is going to suck.or that they don't like it. So there's no joystick.big deal.I can name plenty of flight sims I've played with no joystick.I bet PJ can tell you more Lives don't depend on its success or it does.but its not a reason to put the game down when no one has really played it yet. ( I read in yet another post some of the info I was looking for but the flamming commenced and I refuse to read it any farther ) When I put by two shillings in before, I was really hoping that someone could enlighten me as to weather or not Free Lancer was a RPG or a different genre of space sim. If I were a Mod I'd have locked the post myself. I agree completely with PJ.the flamming has to stop. So far from alot of the posts on this subject, I've seen nothing but flamitory remarks.with the exception of parts of this thread and a few other posters that don't need to be named. This sort of thing may have been side splitting when I was about 12 but now it just makes my toes curl with embarassment. i also hope others have some interest in discussions i initiate. I value other people's insights on games I might purchase and i'm sure Egosoft find it useful to see what excites people about other products features. The FL "community" I have no time for and no longer frequent their board because of the highly restrictive and censorious culture but if they want to alienate potential purchasers that's their business. It's clearly not a sim but it looks a great space RPG. I've discussed features it has and has not, strengths and weaknesses. ![]() Anyone who has read my FL comments here or on the FL board will see that I am consistently saying FL looks like an interesting game, worth checking out. ![]() ![]() This is just childish flame fanning.Īnd as a general rant, I'm sick of being lumped in with this sort of post. Pjknibbs wrote:Can we lay off the "my game is great and yours is crap" schtick already? Getting through hardened steel can be difficult if you're not using the right drill bit. Material: Cobalt steel | Bits Included: 29 | Use For: Drilling metal and other hard materials ![]() The tap and drill selection chart is very helpful for those who are new to power drills and drill bits, and the sturdy case keeps the wide range of bits from falling out or twisting around inside of the kit when in transit. ![]() Bits larger than 3/8-inch have reduced shanks to allow them to be used in a standard 3/8-inch chuck drill without need of an adapter, adding to the versatility of this set. The kit contains 29 bits ranging from a 1/16-inch to a 1/2-inch bit in 1/64-inch increments. That's especially helpful when drilling into harder materials, and it reduces the chance of damage to the surface you're working on. Each bit has a split point, which helps prevent the bit from "walking" across the surface being drilled, rather than penetrating. IRWIN packed this kit with 29 drill bits made with super-strong cobalt steel that can drill through even hard metals such as cast iron with ease. Whether you're an experienced handyman or a beginner, you will appreciate a kit that gives you everything you need and more. If working in a tight area where you don't need a lot of power but need versatility, go cordless. Thomas Hawkins, Master Electrician and owner of Electrician Apprentice HQ, says that ideally, an avid DIYer or handyman should own both a cordless and a corded drill, adding that, “The corded-versus-cordless debate depends upon the project. Note that you can use all of these drill bits with either a corded or a cordless drill. Johnathan Brewer, a licensed general contractor and member of The Spruce's Home Improvement Review Board, adds, "By placing a piece of tape around the drill bit at a designated spot, you can use the tape as depth gauge for how deep you would like to drill," thus simplifying your task by eliminating the need for separate measuring devices. Y/n cringed, "what kind of kink do you have to call poor kakucho a servant?" She shook his head disappointedly, "shame on you." ![]() "KAKUCHOOOO-" izana screamed at kakucho for help, but his friend can't see him. Help me out here you bastard-" he hissed. Izana was screaming as he held himself to a pole while the other guy was grabbing his back, trying to detach him from the pole after successfully chanting something and making izana not bounded to that place anymore. Y/n had met this wack ass looking monk dude whom she's sure isn't actually a monk cause his aura is sketchy as fuck to her.īut she hired him to do the job anyways since he looks like he's in need of some cash while blabbering he now can proceed with whatever evil plans he's gonna do after helping the girl. Izana had never wanted to disappear so bad and kakucho just stood there freaked out by the whole ordeal and still not fully comprehending what in the world is going on. Izana's face suddenly brightened, a twinkle was found a little in his eyes, "You mean helping me go to the after life?" Y/n hummed, "i need to talk to some cool chad who deals with ghosts. "You fucking shit, this is why nobody likes you-" Y/n blinked, "sounds like a you problem-" "I'm kind of bounded here since i died in here." He blankly said. Izana looked at her with a disgusted face. I don't mind sharing a room with a hot ghost-" "To the point you wanna befriend a ghost?" It'll be cool to have more homie by my side." "Are you seriously asking a ghost to come with you?" Izana frowned, "what is wrong with you?" Is it a real ghost? Is it hurting her? Kakucho thought as his mind drifted to make plans to find a person who can see ghosts to destroy the ghost or some shit. Shut up." Izana said before he flicked the girl's forehead, making her wince and making kakucho stare at her with concerned eyes. The bright smile returned on the girl's face in one second, "aw~ i knew you love me!" She chirped. ![]() Y/n gaped like a fish, her eyes held a hurt look and not long after, izana the ghost felt bad and his eyes twitched before he scoffed and looked away, "sorry. Here’s how I used CODE to write a book summary for “Building a Second Brain.” □- Sam Thomas Davies JCapture-Keep What Resonates In his book, “Building a Second Brain,” Tiago Forte ( introduces a four-part method for building a Second Brain called “CODE.” To help guide people in creating a Second Brain, Forte has developed a simple, intuitive four-part method called “CODE”-Capture Organize Distill Express-which he explains throughout the remaining chapters. The first way people use their Second Brain is as a memory aid. The second way that people use their Second Brain is to connect ideas. The third and final way that people use their Second Brain is to create new things. Those stages are remembering, connecting, and creating. There are three stages of progress Forte often observes-and even encourages-as people set out on their Second Brain journey. All too often, our creative wells run dry, not because of something wrong with us, but because we don’t yet have enough raw materials to work with.ĭigital notes apps have four powerful characteristics that make them ideal for building a Second Brain. When we go beyond relying on ideas we can only think of right now, we draw on weeks, months, or even years of accumulated imagination. By keeping all our ideas in one place, we can inspire creativity and bridge gaps in our knowledge. Formulating ideas is easier when we connect ideas. ![]()
